  2. David Welling and Kelly Guild are orchestrating events for the Class of '80. I know the Classes of 1990 (there's a Facebook group/event page) and 2000 have plans underway, and I'll track down those details and post them asap. My mom's Class of 1960 are having a big 50th and the best way to reach her is 307-444-3694 or Vicki Petersen at 307-444-3649. Jeanine (sp) Eastman can be contacted for Class of 1950 events, and Bob George for the Class of 1970. Another event for Saturday, July 3rd, for classes not having a function or who may want to attend is the City of Evanston sponsored "Fresh Air, Freedom & Fun Festival" at Hamblin Park. The Evanston Rotary Club serves a Dutch Oven Bar-B-Que using the old Chuckwagon recipe for the sauce. The Utah All-Star Band I sing with with be playing from 4 to 6 PM. Of cousre, Evanston is a fantastic place to bring in the 4th of July every year! More details coming soon....

    EHS Alumni Golf tournament & No-host gathering at the beautiful Purple Sage Golf Course & Clubhouse beginning at 9 AM - Call 789-2383 for further details. Sue Henderson ('57) is our tournament coordinator. Thank you Sue, for all you do!

    6 PM Red Devils Dutch Oven Dinner in the Machine Shop with Dance to follow. $20 person includes dance/$5 dance only admission after 9 PM - public invited!

    Saturday: Class Competition Noise Parade - line up in the Uinta County Library Parking lot @ 7th & Main @ 9:30 - Parade @ 10. Sandy Ottley is our Parade Coordinator - Thanks, Sandy!

    Following the Parade, Saturday Morning Mixer in historic Depot Square - eye-openers and juices and Devil Dogs (Donations appreciated!)

    Old Farts Social @ the Bear Pavilion beginning @ 12:30 PM

    Other activities include the Evanston Rodeo Series on Friday & Saturday night with rodeo excitement @ 7 Pm in the Uinta County Fairgrounds Arena, Horse-racing @ Wyoming Downs with first post time @ 1 PM on Saturday & Sunday, (gates open @ 11 AM) Fireworks on Friday night courtesy of the Evanston Elks from the E-Hill area, the Fresh Air, Freedom & Fun Festival in Hamblin Park on the 4th.

    there will also be a dedication ceremony for the Lilian Wing Low Bridge, Garden & Ponds near the Gazebo in historic Depot Square @ 12:30. Call 783-6316 for more detals.

  9. EHS Class of 1953 has started planning for their 55th reunion to be held in July, 2008. We have sent out our first mailing, and hope to be able to reach all classmates. Shelly Horne and Burva Caldwell and chairing the event.

  13. Post anything you'd like here, even link your website in the provided field, if you choose to. Send a shout out to a fellow classmate, post a question about the weekend, ask how the Red Devil athletes in this day and age are doing...really whatever you'd like. This page will be checked often. By the way, the Class of 1977 has gotten the ball rolling for their 30th, in conjunction with the All-Alumni Reunion Weekend. There are several classmates involved, but Ward Staniforth seems to be championing the efforts. I'm looking forward to partying with and providing entertainment for those who were seniors when I was a sophomore on Saturday night! Ward's number is unlisted, but if you want to email or call me, I'll put you in contact with him. Linda Harris Jacobson, Carol Davis and Jeannie Megeath Gardner are working on events for the class of '67. I'll post some contacts details for them and other class coordinators once I have approval to do so, but you can always reach Linda @ Evanston Motor Company at 307-789-3145. Thanks!

Information from last year, but much is the same. Website changes coming asap. The 2010 EHS All-Alumni Reunion Weekend is set for Friday, July 2nd to Sunday, July 4th for some classes - 60, 65, 70 80 (and I believe 90) are all planning big-time reunions. Updates to follow, thanks! Call 444-MARK (6275) - If I don't know, I can likely find someone who will!
